Forums - Gaming - Just picked up RE5

I just got back from picking up the game, and I can't wait to play it.  However, I likely won't be able to get a coop partner until Monday.  I've heard it's a good single-player game, and a fantastic coop one.  what do you guys suggest I do?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I say don't let the possiblity of co-op stop you from playing such a highly anticipated game.
Just have fun....the co-op will always come in time

I have it too, but we are 3 brothers and they are twins so guess what pair is playing right now, but from what I saw its awesome, and has amazing visuals and I liked the gameplay.

I decided to start playing on my own, and I must say this game is blowing me away so far! Visuals are phenomenal, and I'm finding it much harder than the demo (though I'm playing on Veteran). Hell, the first enemy took three body shots, a headshot, a hook, then a stab with Sheva's blades to take down. I also had to use all of my green herbs in that scene from the demo with the entire village attacking you, even though I had my strategies memorized and had more ammo than the demo.

All in all, great first impression.

LOL...yeah. she empties entire clips as if ammo grows on trees.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

I was going to pick this up, then thought to myself "wouldn't it make more sense to finally beat RE4 first?" and now I'm planning on picking up my copy after I beat RE4.

Yeah, you should beat RE4 first, as it has the first encounter with RE5's parasites.

Just went 8 hours straight with a friend online and got all the way to chapter 6. We finish the fight later today. Game is so tight.
