First week sales in America will be around 40k. First day sales are so low it's irrelevant to post news about.

Remember guys, some shops didn't have the game on release day somehow from what I've heard.

I have no idea how well it will sell 1st day/week but for the sake of wii 3rd party support (which could be better) the quicker it reaches (if it does) 1million the better.

Some of you may be setting yourselves up for a big disappointment in terms of 1st day/week sales.

The Conduit will be another story.

^^Yup. I expect much better from the conduit.

While it totally antidotal my neighbouring games store is on their second shipment and it appears to be selling strongly in other stores too. However, I doubt they ordered in more than a dozen or two so we're not talking huge numbers but definately a decent opening.

My prediction is around 20k America, 30k Europe, 2k Japan. The reasons are: brand new IP,Resident Evil 5 launche,Wii core market after 2 years of dissapointment by 3rd parties will overlook it and buy it when the price is lower,the beat em up genre is not mainstream nowdays and the violence debate is not going to push the game reputation(violence themes are oversaturated on videogames nowdays).

The game is getting at least some advertising from what I hear. It's also apparently a great game. Not in a "great for Wii a game" kinda way, just great period. How many of those do we get?

I stand by my prediction of 100-200k first week in America.
