The extra sales are from that bundle Sony is doing, the ones where they bundle PS3's with Wii's.

A debate on the decreasing numbers of Wiis being sold in Japan automaticaly turns into a bashing contest on the winning being whoever can say in more interesting worlds that because of Nintendo being the most sucessfull company this gen it doesnt really matter. Wow....

Lets see:

It didnt have many interesting/hyped games in these past two weeks;
The competition had interesting/hyped games in these past two weeks;
Its on the same price since launch;
Its only on white (lack of 'new' colors to keep it 'fresh - we all know japanese girls love their multi colored gizmos);
Oversaturared Japanese market (home consoles wise)?

People need to let this stupid 'I'll defend (insert favorite console/company here) because I love it' shit behind. Try to be more constructive. An inteligent debates is better than scat coomments on how the Wii will never be 3rd because it beated the competion in 2 years time (being cheaper and more trendy then the other two, by the way).

Now, for the fun of it, i'll go all fanboy:

I could use the 300's, Leonidas comment: "I brough more warriors than you!"
As in: "I'm selling to more gamer than you!" - Said Sony/MS to Nintendo, who sells more because of casuals.

well first dont compare japan to the west, there is more variety there, and alot more sellers unlike in japan. All i can sa is judge the Wii by July when it gets monster hunter and wii resort

Worry not, Sony's got it half covered with the 10 years plan.
