Can you change weapons or is it when you get a weapon you just have to to use that weapon?

I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to go online when I got stuck in the hangar where you load up your ship with missiles. It was just a stupid oversight. I'm rather more used to activating things by either scanning them or shooting them in a Metroid game. Actually walking up to something and touching it confuses my simple mind. :P

LOL, exactly.

 It makes me feel slightly better than I was stymied by a little thing like that rather than a genuine puzzle, for some reason.
