hey this game is made by remedy, it is going to sell like crazy. especially if it one of the only xbox 360 exclusives of the year.

Except that it's not exclusive. I too believe 360 version alone will be able to outsell Halo Wars, but I don't think it will "sell like crazy"

its not coming out for the ps3/wii i consider that a exclusive

Then your definition of "exclusive" is wrong.

It's no worse than calling Mirror's Edge a 2009 PC exclusive since it released on consoles last year.

Which was corrected and given the reasons behind their listing, and that's a ton better than keeping the stance of PC games being Xbox 360 exclusives, like it is still done in the Xbox 360's 2008 exclusives thread.

its "exclusive" because PC are irrelevant.

MrBubbles Review Threads: Bill Gates, Jak II, Kingdom Hearts II, The Strangers, Sly 2, Crackdown, Zohan, Quarantine, Klungo Sssavesss Teh World, MS@E3'08, WATCHMEN(movie), Shadow of the Colossus, The Saboteur

If it's on PC it is not 360 Exclusive.

Uncharted, Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Fit, Killzone 2, Gears of War 2, etc. are exclusive.

No

Alan Wake is Microsoft exclusive.

imo, it depends on review scores and positive hype for the game at the time of release and I think A.Wake can wind up being anything from a 60 to a 100. If it winds up a 90 or better, then yes definitely.  An 85 would sell a little better than Halo Wars imo.  Around 80 and it's a toss up.  Less than 80 Halo Wars wins.

From what I know about it at this point in time though, I feel there's a 50% chance it will finish up as good or better than RE.  And a 50% chance it will wind up as bad or worse than Too Human or the latest Alone in the Dark and Silent Hill games.

Heavens to Murgatoids.

@ OP
You sure you aren't megaman2? You sure seem to be making yourself an ass as he always did.

OT: Alan wake has a chance if it is released near the holidays.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... No. Alan Wake = 200k Week 1 & 1.5M LTD

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

I'll be an outsider and say Alan Wake, if it releases in Q4 this year, will outsell Halo Wars.

There, I said it.

I think that HW will do great and hit 2.5m or so, but I think Alan Wake, if it's all it's cracked up to be (a 90%+ game), will outsell it as a great quality purchase for Christmas.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

For those who think HW will goto PC eventually I very much doubt it and I'm guessing you've not played it. The game really is too simple to attract the PC gamer RTS market, it works well on the 360 but on PC it would look poor in comparison.
