Well Halo Wars proves that Halo brand is very strong, great sales for an RTS on a console, i just wonder how much would Mario RTS be able to sell?

Killzone 2? What are you talking about?
Have you played Halo Wars in it's entirety DMJ? Because I have. And it is a genuinly good, and original game. It was not very hyped, and has sold well based on good reviews. Did the Halo name hurt? No. But its ridiculous to claim this isn't a great, strong-selling game because it has a good name.

I don't know who's expectations you're talking about Starcraft, but I damn well expected this game to sell to at least one million, likely more. Why can't people understand that when you use an established franchise of this magnitude, the genre often means less than the word on the cover - in this case, "HALO". I mean, really.
It's selling relatively well,considering it is an RTS on a console.
However,the only reason it's selling the way it is is because it has Halo in it's name.So far it hasn't "annihilated" anything...at least not yet.
Still,the sales have been good so far.

Starcraft you're not dumb. The sentence psrock bolder was about kz2. You're a known troll, and that's what that was. You're not stupid.
I'm sure halo wars is a good game, but to believe that the halo name has nothing to do with sales is silly.
