The game is impossible to beat thats why no one is buying it.

MAY SETH BURN IN HELL!!!

What difficulty are you guys are playing on? I've beat Seth a number of times on medium setting and a handful of times on a higher settings. You guys need to work on your defense on look for openings.

Its not the difficulty.. i can beat him... the problem is that he is the Cheepest Boss in a fighting game i have ever played... You dont need skill to beat him.... you have to be just as cheap as he is to beat him... i could deal w/ him if he had no teleportation... but teleprtation plus stretchy arms plus the fastest grabs in the game plus double sonic boom plus kens most powerfull uppercut = wtf?

Current sales do make me a bit sad. But it is freaking Street Fighter and I am loving it.

Looking at opening week in Europe and comparing figures in the long run it will most likely outsell Soul Calibur IV.

SCIV had a insane amount of marketing around it and had Starwars characters. SFIV is all about SF fanbase and doesn't have any special characters that they had to pay off to put in the game.

So yeah, SFIV sales are doing really good.

I do agree the SC4 sales weren't that great considering the amount of marketing that was put into the game...I would see five or six SC4 commercials in a one hour period of TV watching. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have even sold half the numbers it did if there was no Yoda/Vader. That said, I don't think SFIV will outsell it. SC4 benefited from essentially having no competition. SFIV's release coincides with the release of too many big titles.

I don't see why people find seth hard, on normal he is cake, the first round is obviously a joke round, and after that he is incredibly predicatible, stand at a mid screen distance, wait for his animation to start, jump in, hit low, then sweep, repeat until win.
I don't know what people that are having troubel with Seth would do with actually difficult fighter bosses like Zero, Omega Rugal, Geonitz, Pre Alpha Bison, or the hardest of them all, Magneto in Children of the Atom
anyway, half a million sold on each console in 3 weeks is hardly poor sales,
now if only the online wasn't filled with turtles

Don't be an idiot. Your just use to playing easy stuff. Or you might just suck at the game.

I have a ton of trouble with RPG's like chrono trigger, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

@Masschamber: God Rugal isn't hard at all, although he is harder than Shin akuma is.

compared to Seth?

I would say Seth is harder if you're playing both on the hardest difficulty setting.

Anything below that, though, and I would go with God Gugal, because his supers kill you in one hit.

Relax,
SF4 is selling close to Soul Calibur IV sells, which is around 1 000 000 for both HD consoles.

lol seth is so easy

just use your longest range normal moves and never use specials

hes so easy

my roommate was complaining about him for like half an hour and lost to him like 30 times in a row

i go do balrogs ending and it took me 2 tries, i just spammed fierce punch and the range is so long i knocked seth out of everything he tried to do

Pretty much. The sales aren't horrible, just not huge enough to meet certain fanboy expectations. Considering that I haven't seen any advertising for this game outside of the internet, I'm surprised it's even selling close to SC4.

Capcom expects sales of 1.7 mil. I'm pretty sure they'll make that goal.
