You kinda can't add Widescreen.  It's not polygon based so there is no screen data on the right or left side of what you see in the standard 4:3 format.

Nintendo is adding widescreen to all theyre cheap cash-ins....

This is Capcom, not Ninttendo.  And please explain how you add widescreen to a static image.

Capcom should put both games on the same disc and
include lots of cool stuff in a 'special retail box'. It will sell.

RE1 and RE0 remakes on the Wii would be great, but like SaviorX said, if they are ports, then its nothing too great; might as well just pick the two titles cheap off of ebay for the GameCube.

Yeah, expecting widescreen is a big stretch considering that this game uses a lot of pre-rendered images. Progressive scan should definitely happen though.

You mean for both right? $30 each? lol. yeah, not buying that. And what Wiimote functionality could they even use in the gameplay since it is the old camera angles?
