"Capcom's new Resident Evil "Classics" line will allow the new audience who has embraced the Wii to experience some of the greatest games in the Resident Evil franchise for the value price of $29.99. Both set to launch this year, the remake of Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero have been refitted to support the Wii Remote."

I remember Capcom saying these titles were never going to leave Japan.   I want these more than I want Darkside Chronicles.

$19.99 should be the right price, both games are great, but they are really old and offer not a new thing on wii

I have the GameCube versions of these games but if they are in widescreen and progressive scan, I'll re-buy them.

Capcom listen to me you pile of $7üff!

Bring ALL The RE games to XBL/PSN NOW!!!!!!!,Its a goldmine waiting to be explored!

So hold on for both games its priced $29.99 or they are $29.99 a piece?

I recently picked up Resident Evil 0 on the Gamecube. I haven't played it yet but I will get to it later but the Wii-mote controls seem like a nice adaption. And both of these remakes failed considerably in Japan, nice to see that they are bringing these to over to America, because I will surely purchase them!

$29.99 each I believe.

Dannagar, no idea if widescreen is being implemented or not but I don't think so.

You can't see it, but I have this completely shocked look on my face right now. Shocked, I say.

Two weeks ago, I passed a Pure Evil set at my local Fry's. Both of these games bundled together for $20. Just saying.

@Viper1

Well this feels like a rip-off. I mines well buy the original Gamecube versions than actually buying the Wii versions.

A) cheaper
B) the original formula, using the original controls

Also it what distinguishes the Wii version from the Gamecube versions is Wii-mote support and its higher retail price tag.

Capcom should do a package deal for $29.99. These are Gamecube titles with the only new feature being that you can use the wii remote, its not worth it for $29.99 each.

i will probably get RE0, i only have one disc of RE0, my second disc broke and i couldn't beat the game, i don't know about REmake though since i still have the gamecube version in good condition.
