Forums - Nintendo - N4G.com - MadWorld is getting Hyped

In terms of this list Madworld is getting enough interest to almost enter the top 10. Granted it doesn't seem like much but this is a Wii game and getting enough hits, along with press coverage, is difficult considering the competition.

I think this will generate some impressive sales.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Around the Network

wow madworld has taken a spot between the big guns, all games on that list are highly expected games from a already cemented franchise, its good that a new hardcore wii IP is doing this good

N4g can't hype anything. Its filled with the top 1% of the most dellutional fanboys on the planet. Its very tunnel visioned to what's going on in the real world. Who would've guessed that a moderate budget average reviewed console rts could go toe to toe with a massive $60 million dollar budget violent AAA Fps game?

N4G is seriously Sony Fanboy land. I read their comments to Killzone 2 reviews if I need a good laugh.

^ Seems ok, better Metareviews than Metacritic. There are generally more blog/independant reviews listed.
