They gave the GC version an 8.9. Apparently, it wasn't hampered as much by the Wiimote's "tinny" speaker.

I tend to beat games faster than the hours the reviewers list, too. MadWorld just left my Amazon wishlist, and entered the "Wait for GameStop used, 2 years from now, or bargain bin if its sales suck" list. I got 8-10 hours of cool summer blockbusters to watch with pals, for the same price. I'll buy MadWorld when its worth the admission price. |
5 hours for the main game, you have unlockables, extra difficulty (God Hand difficult Hard mode), and splitscreen multiplayer. Gamespot just makes terrible reviews for over 10 years now..

it's too expensive here it cost around 77$ i'm a jrpg guy my games have to be long.
for jrpg i expect at least 30 hours 20hrs+ for other genders.
77$ for 2 days of gamming it's expensive to me, but i do plan to get it when its cheaper uncharted 2 makes it feel like i am playing a bigger longer game and it's cheaper.
GameSpot is generally lulzy. Go read their Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn review.
Or better yet, I'll summarize it for you. "Baaaaaaw needs Miis instead of real characters baaaaaaw needs waggle baaaaaaw I couldn't beat the second chapter on easy mode baaaaaaaaaaw it isn't Halo baaaaaaaaaaaw."

I decided to actually read the review because of this post. I was sure you were joking about them saying it needed Miis, but you weren't. They actually wanted Miis in the game.
What the hell? And what's an alternative? How is this BAD?
Maybe I'm oldschool or something, but I remember back when losing all your lives meant starting the whole game over again. What pussies are actually crying about starting the level over? Usually you'd have to do that anyway just from losing one life.
I am just floored at how easy games have to be these days not to get criticized.
Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

"Frustrating camera and control issues"
I hope they were more specific in the full review. Every other reviewer has praised both of these aspects of the game
