Forums - Gaming - 2009: the year of capcom?

Capcom also has MHG, and MH3

But Ninty and Sega will botth have better release schedules

SE may even have better releases

Around the Network

. This is SEGA's year, if it belongs to any 3rd party.

Yes.

A lot of original projects, a lot of new IP... Sega give new blood and fresh air at this generation.

Especially for the wii, the ps3 and the PC. But soon, there will be a good surprise too for x-box fans (according to sega)

@scottie

"But Ninty and Sega will botth have better release schedules"

What is nintendo schedule for 2009 ?

Oh, sorry my logic ran as followed

Nintendo had a better release schedule every year

Therefore Nintendo will have a better release schedule this year ;)

Anyway, as for what games they have already announced/released

Wii Sports Resort
Pokemon Platinum
Mario and Luigi 3
A whole bunch of Wiimakes
Endless ocean 2
Sin and Punishment
Punch Out
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
A whole bunch of new IP, some of which looks awesome

Which to be honest already beats the list in the OP plus MHG and MH3

All the other stuff they will release but haven't announced is a bonus

capcom and sega's year for sure. i'm not interested in anything from nintendo right now.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

No. You just think this because they've been all over the internet for the last few weeks mainly Resident Evil.

I think It will be decent but not really ambitious.
End of 2008 was a complete disaster for nintendo fans (wii music, disaster, animal crossing) and Nintendo don't care about gamers...

They only announced fastfood new IP because of the pressure of fanboys (matt from ign says HI)...

And for the old franchises, "Big" N chose punch out because it's short to develop...

I liked Nintendo in the past, but I grow up and what I see ?

A company incredibly rich not able to feed the fans.
(billions dollars for the marketing and what about price drop ?)

An old fan disapointed....

(actually I prefer Sony and microsoft)

What about MH3.. I doubt that it will be as big as the next PSP MH games, but it will still be big in Japan ;)

@ scottie: I doubt that G will be big especially if they have to pay for online play :| That wil hurt sales a lot, and G is not expected to be huge anyways...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Dark Void says hi.

Maybe, great games nevertheless.
