Well it is not like they have made any interesting games. Good riddance. :P

Oh so I guess Gears of War must be a superior series when you compare it to a Japanese developer that is famous for their JRPG series Persona. Well nice way of comparing those games :P

You are a tasteless piece of $h!t. Atlus makes Gold, maybe if you werent so closed minded you would see the quality experiences they make.

They also put out a whole lot of crap.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Looking at the sales data for the Trauma Center 2 for DS, its fairly obvious that there's tracking problems so that shouldn't be an example of poor sales

Aw fuck no. fuck no. fuck no!

No, that's only what they publish (which isn't made by them). What Atlus develops is almost always top quality

I wonder if they got caught in a little bit of "sequel-itis." That seems to work better with main-line IPs than with niche IPs.

I mean how many times can you play Trauma Center. It sold half-a-million copies of the first Wii game (with few sales in Japan), according to VGC numbers. So it makes another one -- and it does not sell as well.

A lot of its titles seem to have that feel.

Just pondering.

its looks they still only sell well on PS2

Fixed, really.

Also lol at Gears of War > JRPGs. Hell no. Maybe Persona 1 on PSP will sell well too...

Not to sound like an ass, but I hope that remake flops.

540k is fail for TC? That's great! New Blood didn't do too good but I doubt it hurt them a whole lot. It still sold 180k. But yeah Baroque and the rest did fail.

Okay I can understand the first Wii Trauma Center doing well. Reason being it was the first one avalible for the Wii to try and it was built on positive word by the DS Trauma Center games, notice the sequel of the Wii Trauma Center: New Blood failed miserably with the 180k units.

I don't even know what was the point of release Baroque. Let alone for both the Wii and the PS2. That was a horrible choice.

Baroque was originally a Saturn game that many Japanese and import gamers considered great when it came out or so I've heard.  However, it seems that the Wii/PS2 remake is severly flawed.

Atlus can't depend of SMT and Persona alone for profit.

Are we sure Persona 4 made profit?

It sold 530k...can't see why it didn't.

530k and it is released in europe tomorrow.

I think they should rerelease some more SMT games on PSP, IMHO they would be perfect for little screen it has.

Come on, you just want the remake to flop because they changed the battle theme and probably a couple of songs more? At least be glad that now you'll be receiving the full game (snow queen quest), properly translated and with the original characters

Yes. They're removing the original soundtrack and adding this J-Pop to cater to the new crowd. It doesn't fit well to the tone of the game, and I like the original soundtrack. The music is what make some games memorable. I hope they don't replace the boss battle theme too. I love that one. How would you feel if Konami remade Suikoden II, but they replaced a lot of songs with J-Pop?

The only way I'll get the game is if someone gives me a copy.
