I'm more excited about Demon's Souls, tbh. Hopefully White Knight won't be another Rogue Galaxy.

How would you know what Rogue Galaxy is? You only played for like three or four hours.

Well...
This doesn't look AAA like Valkyria Chronicles, Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey.

 

 First off the rpgfan review is an import review, some issues may get worked out when the game is localized. The game isn't released yet in Others or NA so stop trying to spin it.

Secondly none of the above jrpg's are AAA, the closest is VC with an 87 meta rating. Tales is an 81 and LO is a 78.

Quality: I only know that it's developed and designed by Level-5, usually that's enough for me (I luv Dark Cloud 1-2, Rogue Galaxy, Dragon Quest VIII, Jeanne d' Arc, the Professor Layton series and Inazuma Eleven), also, i've seen some gameplay and i like it so far, but i will wait until i get the game to judge quality...

Sales: The game outsold all HD JRPGs in only a week in Japan, and that includes Star Ocean: The Last Hope (even with US sales combined), so WKC has the HD crown until Final Fantasy XIII arrives...

It's a game that I'm really hyped for along with Demon's Soul. That's all that I can share at this time.

1UP calls this game a complete copy of FFXI for some reason.

But from what I saw and heard I would say that it's an MMO-ish jRPG game with FFXI-XII inspired battle system, mediocre storyline, decent graphics, cool CGI clips and half-assed online mode.

I like FF 11 so that's not a bad thing.

It's a PS3 exclusive, that's really about it as far as reasons for hyping it goes.  People were hyping it since a 30 second E3 clip detailing nothing about the game.

And before people flip out, I'm not saying the game is good or bad, you just can't deny this game was originally hyped because it was an early PS3 exclusive  that looked pretty and nothing else.
