Maybe this is why Sony has not made a price drop. They just keep it the same price until things ease. Maybe M$ move might back fire on them. This is the first time I have heard of price increase on a console.

actually i dont really mind the euro, it makes sense to have one european currency imo, no need for all that exchange rate stuff, makes money easier to understand when you go to europe |
Have some pride, man
You should want the rest of Europe adopt the Pound before England adopts the euro. I sure as hell would not want America using the Loonie or Peso.

pride in what? a currency, thats kind of lame imo, its just what you use to buy stuff, as long as i have enough currency to buy what i need, why should i care what said currency is?

I agree, I would rather change too the Euro.
I can have pride in my work, family, friends... I don't see the point of pride in a country, even if it weren't a country currently in the sink, only a plug pull away from going down the drain.

i call that the Conservative party, lol!
wtf?!? released in 2006 and in 2009 they raise the price??? I'l be surprised if this doesn't greatly affect hardware sales as people will try and wait it out till a price drop. The sting will also be made worse when VAT rates bounce back up.

Ha.. indeed.
although all 3 major (if Lib Dem can be called that) parties are starting to merge into one mindset in my eyes. For the most part, whichever party is ruling the decisions made will be very similar, especially considering the majority of local governments seem to be Tory anyway.
