ok i dont really want to get into this discussion but... "if you really want to kill it doesent matter if its a gun or not" well there is a huge difference between the desire to kill and the actual action. which becomes a lot easier if you actually own a gun.. its a easy and removed and anonymous way to kill.. you dont get into body contact with you victim like ..say with a knife you dont even have to be near it .. and it doesent matter if youre weaker than your victim

its a matter of something being avaiable. if you have some cheetos at home you will more likely eat them when you feel like it ..than having none at home and having to go to the store to buy some first..i know its a idiotic example but your argument can be easily be turned against you.. you mean to say that when the desire to kill is already there it doesent matter with what.. but there is always a long way from the thought and the action and guns make that decision a lot easier

as for american gun laws.. if i knew that all my neighbours would be gun owners . i would also feel the need to "protect" myself

i know it has a historic context that you feel that need.. since youll never know when the redcoats will be back to conquer you

but for europeans there is just no necessity.. i have no gun.. nor does my neighbour not anyone else exepct the police and the military.. and a selected few organisations like huntsmen and sports clubs . there is no other way for an individual to gain a gun permit if he or she is no member in said organisations

thats also where 100% of the guns from our school shootings come from.. some father or uncle who is a legitimate gun owner has some guns at home and the son /nephew brother somehow gains access to them

as for that shootout today..seem to be the same pattern.. he or his father was a huntsman... although apparently he wasnt the usual "quiet type" lets see where this goes

As I stated before, very few crimes are committed with guns. And when they are, 99.9999999999999999999% of the time, they are illegal firearms. Taking away the freedom to have a gun wont stop gun violence.

A simple list of laws japan has for guns isnt proof as to why we should outlaw guns. Proof is showing a study like in poland and other countries where outlawing guns made the illgeal gun crimes RISE. Ofcourse you would'nt know that. Once again, You have yet to post proof saying you are correct. I will not offer up proof I am correct until you atleast take the time to finmd proof of your own. You havent linked to any studies. You haven't shown anything. It is just what you think. Also america will never outlaw guns, part of our rights as a US citizen. Yes, Most guns that are used in crimes come from drug related money. People smuggle weapons into the country. Look at some school shootings. They are almost always illegal firearms. Where there is a will, there is a way.
