I hate these nutters, what makes them think 'I'm gonna kill 15 people today, that makes sense'?

^ hmm taking a look at all the guys ..(and its exclusively males.. who did it ) since littleton its always been some sort of quiet outcast with no or few friends
many of them had no friends.. no girlfriend.. were socialy inept, have been mobbed at school.. had issues with their parents at home.. and nowhere to turn to . of course each of them had a different motivation and lifestory.and of course a different psychology. but there are always similar patterns
so they feel angry.. socially inferiour and rejected and if family school or anything else offer noone to talk to about their problems .. a few people ..like those did will resort to violence. and i would say most of them have had severe personality disorders.theydo it both as a way of revenge. feeling superior to others by taking their lives and "showing them" and for once getting some attention
it is both revenge for those that somehow wronged you ..and punishment for those that could have helped you but didnt
lets take a example of a patient with borderline disorder .shes a cutter and knows you care for her.. and if she feels is some way wronged because you let her wait before seeing her or were busy.. she would cut herself to the bone just to get at you.. and i think in some cases its something similar just a thousand times more extreme

They should really up the gun control laws in Germany. That would've easily solved this issue.
But in all seriousness, this is horrible. I pray for those who lost their lives that day. :(
Not only were his actions terrible, but the way he carried them out were even worse. Hell, I could at least understand if he was angry at people at his school, but killing civilians he didn't even know? It's such a horrible thing.
I mourn those who died, and my best wishes go out to their families. I can't even imagine the grief of those who were close to the people killed.
if they are going to commit suicide in the end then why do they not just kill themselves in the beginning??

He didn't commit suicide. Besides, the whole point is that after their "revenge," they have no way out. They end their lives both out of their own sadness and the realization that after such an act, there's no going back.

I think he did. The policemen shot him in the leg but it was suicide according to the latest media reports.
I agree with you btw: Shooting those civillians is probably one of the most cruel things ever done in a gun rampage. It's really sad, I live just two hours away from that school.
That being said what happened in Alabama is terrible as well.
i think that is part of the logic of these people.. .. they are self centered to the extreme and think themselves as victims and think they are all alone and anyone else wants them harm
so partially because of this.. and partially because he wanted to "get back at society" it doesent matter who he kills.. because he thinks that everyone in a way has wronged them... and whoever he kills, is just another victim of said soceity they "cant help" but kill those people because they are no the ones responsible its everyone else that "made them do it" so in their logic they are not really killing them its everyone else that drove them to do it
although its the most common to happen at a school because there they can kill the ones who bullied them, rejected them or just.. because they are the same age they are the most alike to the killer only they resemble things they lack.. be that in academical archievement.. social status. appearance and so forth
and makingmusic i hope you were joking about german gun controls laws :P

i have a question for all of u that go to high school currently;
every year on the anniversary of the columbine shootings every school in the tri-county gets called with a bomb threat is this just my district or all over?
