Still, i think i read that somewhere back in the day.

Edit: Found it! From Wikipedia:

"The game was initially going to play similarly to Resident Evil 4. However, in an interview with Famitsu, the game's producer Masachika Kawata revealed the reason for the drastic change in gameplay. According to him, "Wii users like easiness" and that a Resident Evil 4-style game is "too complicated" for Wii users to enjoy. Masachika Kawata then elaborated that "complex operability can be an obstacle for Wii users", and that he purposefully had to "compromise to a lower difficulty level" and "reduce enthusiast-only elements"

I was mocking Capcom not you. Also, I laugh at RE:UC having a lower difficulty than RE4.

This should be sent to every m----a fu----ng journalist at every website or magazine who defends this company and its approach on Wii. You realise, if you look at who developed Wii games, Capcom HAVE NOT actually made any Wii games since Z&W. They have all been sent to crappy outsourced wankers, same guys who ended up making Dead Rising wii.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Well guys just buy it anyways so we can get more Resident Evil games.

No, I won't buy it. Why should I? More of us bought RE4 than RE:UC. Logic would dictate that a new traditional RE game should come to we before a sequel to RE:UC. However that is not the case. You can look at my game collection, I've bought four Capcom games for Wii. Unless they release Tatsunoko vs. Capcom in the West, they won't be getting any more money from me when it comes to Wii. I'll take no support over half ass support. They couldn't even put one of their own development teams on the game. You think they would have gotten a development team with a least a decent reputation, what do we get? Fucking Cavia. Capcom's Wii support = Fail.

Third parties always pull that we don't think it will sell BS as reason for not putting game on the Wii. RE4 sells like mad despite being the fourth port of the game and I see nothing indicating that Capcom is actually going to "make Wii owners happy" and give us tradition RE game. Hell, Denegeration could be turned into a traditional game RE if their too lazy to write an original scenario. Of course they'd probably hire Data Design to dev the game knowing Capcom.

I can tell with word how i feel.
Wii has the horse 3rd party games of all time.
This month capcom annunce two high budget games dead rising 2 and lost planet 2. And the news on wii is a "on rails"
prffff

Awesome!!!

                                             WII is the FUTURE GAMING!

Not to beat a dead horse, but I went back and forth about this with a mod on the Capcom forums. He kept giving the excuse of it takes more time to develop a tradition RE game. Which is true, but if they were actually working on a traditional RE game it would have been announced by now. RE5 was announced nearly 4 years before it's release date back in July of 2005.
