Sitting at a stoplight in Manhattan Beach, I saw a woman get run over by a bus. It wasn't even the visuals that mortified me, it was her screaming that went on and on while everyone sat there, horrified by what they had just seen.

A friend in my infant school was abused by his parents (he was moved to a foster home), he showed me this scar on his back that was left after his father poured boiling water over his shoulder.

It disgusted me physically then, and the thought of what he must have gone through disgusts me mentally, now.

Hey, that happened on my 18th birthday, I only remember good things about that... but I was drunk.

OT: My Gran was killed in an horrific car accident where she got more or less pulverised. At the hospital I saw her and it was horrible. The one leg was pretty much gone and her face had... how can I descrie this... caved in. It was pretty horrific to anyone that saw it, but considering it was one of my loved ones, that made it 100x worse.

You probably wont see this things in countries like Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, etc...; But I know what u mean, countries like Brazil or things like that have a lot of nasty insects and animals. Here in Chile I think we dont even have poisenous snakes, and the most deadly animal is a spider(dont know the name in english) but even though its supposed to live in almost every house the bites almost never happen, when they do, they almost always appear on the news.
