See my edit
Here, I'm PC exclusive.
I'm just here because I'm interested in knowing about every part of the game industry and the gaming culture, even those that I don't like to actually play.

Wow, some of us have a time machine to go to the future and play with the next-gen consoles...
Me, i don't have the money, so i stay with my current-gen platforms (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS)...
I have current gen systems...
Seriously, this is the first generation where I see lots of people still referring to it as "next", when we´re well into the 3rd year of this gen.
The complete (as in, all systems had been released) 7th generation (the one we´re in now) started in November 2006...we´re in March 2009, and yet tons of people are still calling it 'next'....what gives?

Exactly ;P
I know I called it 'next' which was a mistake but it started in 2004 with the Nintendo DS
@O-D-C
I just think it´s curious and peculiar...don´t know if you visit a lot of other gaming forums, but if you do you must´ve noticed how there are indeed many people who still call the current gen 'next'....I wonder why...
Actually, I wonder if one of the reasons is because this gen started with a higher price tag on all systems, compared to previous gens..
