not a suprise, but if sony hasnt bought them before 2010 is over, expect them to announce going completely mulitplatform for the next gen of systems.

Well, this was totally unsurprising news. Still, a great developer (and employer too it would seem) so hopefully when they get back from the cruise they can supply some actual news.

Insomniac is not own by Sony. They are second party which means that they can do whatever they want. Sony funds their games and publishes them. However the Resistance and R&C franchises are owned by Sony. If they ever go multiplatform they'll have to come with a new IP
