Forums - Sony - Valkyria Chronicles is absolutely wonderful...

Fantastic game, im at chapter 10 now,,,
about the suikoden relationship.... it reminded me of Suikoden 3 when i first started playing it, dont know why,,, but it blew me away from the beginning,, Classic games tend to do that,,,

Square Enix,, Can you please remake Final Fantasy Tactics using Valkyrie chronicles as a Blueprint ??? Thank you very much, and while you're fulfilling my wish, can you please Do a FFVIII Remake (thats 8, not 7) on Ps3 ? ,,, cheers :)

i cant play this game and i really like it but i find it really hard
i stuck on chapter 4 cloudburst and im just getting frustrated is there a way to put it on easy mode or something

Although I usually go against this. You can just go on youtube and watch a video on how to beat that level in like 2 turns.

You can just do skirmishes and make your characters stronger. I'm sure you can figure it out without too much of a problem. 7 was the toughest for me.

Chapter 7 was a pain for me as well until I figured out I could just run around them all with Alicia and use my handy dandy grenade launcher to knock the troops out of the fort and then take it over.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I may have my chapters mixed up. Also, I didn't have a grenade launcher til much much later in the game. In fact, I ended around level 15 when I beat the game.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

I abused the heck out of skirmish and I had my secondary weapons around chapter 5 or 6.

I also think I was in fact the one who mixed up the chapters, not you. -.-

*sigh* Us pathetic dark-hairs.

I traded in my copy of Resistance 2 for Valkyria Chronicles last week. Best deal I ever made!

I love the game. I've wanted to buy it for a few months and finally I have it :D

Definitly yes :)  And anime should start airing soon.

April 6 to be precise. ^^

@Newcloud

Here is how you have to proceed :

- Take a scout and go straight forward near the pile of rubble, take down the shocktrooper who's waiting around the corner.

- Go there iwth a lancer and fire on the left wall of where the shocktrooper was standing, it will be destroyed.

- take another scout and go there, fire at the ragnite container near the left tank, it will make it explode and will uncover another shocktrooper.

- take the first scout you used and kill this shocktrooper, from there you'll still have to kill three more ennemies to take the base and win, you can do it in two turns easy.

Euphoria, if I don´t like RTS games, could I still enjoy VC?...Or is the RTS aspect a major part of the gameplay?

Try the demo, it's not a RTS at all, that is, you have plenty of time to think about your moves. BUT, when you do move one character, ht's like real time for that character and the enemy, it's like the enemy has action points left over from their turn so they can react to you. Like in X-Com: TftD, when the Nautilus blasts you from miles away through a tiny window the &^*(er.

It is nothing close to an RTS.

It is more like a turn-based 3rd person shooter, only your character has a limited amount of space they can move per turn.

if we advertise it more by ourselves to fellow ps3 owners, i'm sure we can help word of mouth along on how wonderful this game is. it deserves more sales, and it will encourage sega to make another one :D

so pass the word along :D
