I wouldn't say that.  Though there next game will be make or break.  They've just fallen into the trap of having all there eggs in one basket.  There next game will have to be a different type game rather then a "modified rogue squadren" game.

Speaking of Lair, where is Washimule when you need him? This is the game that signals PS3 domination.

Also, LOL @ IGNs comments on the water looking really shitty - especially after all the crap they said about how technically advanced it is.

was it washimul that said the slaughter begins in june?

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

There have been a lot of months where the slaughter was supposed to begin. March, June, August...

Now it's March again...March 2008... and the cycle repeats.

I too said months ago that Lair wouldn't sell systems. Looks like I'll be right.

I remember that day, Sony's Gamer Day.  The fanboys watched videos of Lair and went "OMG!!!! Look at those graphics!!! There's like 10,000 soldiers on the field and each has a Cell enabled AI algorithm!!! This is going to sell millions PS3's!!!!".  More rational people read the less than stellar previews and realized that though the game is pretty it's also shallow.   I also thought the game wouldn't do so well but I won't jump on the I told you so bandwagon.

Yup, the hype back then sounds an awful lot like the hype of another upcoming game *Killzone3*. I'm not saying it won't sell systems this time, but fanboys might want to think twice before over hyping a game based on trailers and screen shots.
