Seems a little bit harsh especially from IGN. At least they gave Warhawk a good score.

I guess Warhawk will be the easy choice for PS3 owners. That game looks like it would be a lot of fun. If I had a PS3, I would get Warhawk.

Ouch!
Was just chatting to my friend about the review... he said "isn't there any option to not use the SIXAXIS controls?"

And from IGN:
"...mandatory Sixaxis control scheme..."

Well - so much for LAIR. Glad I don't have my old sig anymore ;)

And its just as well PS3 owners have at least ONE good game they should buy - Warhawk.

LAIR - This is living!

(so is this the WORST 1st-party, "AAA " title ever released? any ideas?)

Ouch, that's pretty harsh. I admit, I was really interested in the game, flying dragons was just too cool but apparently its another looker with little substance.

I can say so much to that fanboyish comment but wont becuase I have respect for everyone in the forums. If the six axis "sucks" so much then why is warhawk priased for six-axis?

Warhawk has the best controls for the sixaxis ever, even in ground vehicles its fun as hell and easy to use.

Anyways, I'm so glad I cancelled my Lair pre-order and switched all the money to Folklore. ^.^

I think the review said something about it not being just the SIXAXIS controls that affected this game. I wonder if Sony pushed Factor 5 in any way to make the SIXAXIS controls a dominant part of the game. If they nailed it down they could of easily bragged that the PS3 is very similar to the Wii with motion controls but great graphics as well. However I've seen more game reviews brought down by the SIXAXIS. I'm not sure PS3 owners care if motion controls are implemented in their games.
