Well he was right look at the thread, killzone gets a temp ban yet no one else, all the wii fanboys with their OBVIOUS troll posts don't get a ban. Bias like always.

What is the last game they have released? How long have they worked on LAIR for? How much money did they get?

I get the feeling they are a bunch of "hardware-tech" coders. They love to play with different rendering techniques to make things look good - bump mapping, blending, filters, yadda yadda... Also sound code (which is where they started - developing the ProLogic II stuff for the GC).

Apart from that, I don't think they have any idea about game development. Design, optimisation, process...

LAIR shouldn't be a hard game to do. The fact that the controls - the most essential part of the game - seem to suck - says it all. Until you have an engine + game demo where controls are excellent, you don't even consider looking at anything else.

Sort of becoming the next Rare - but worse. 

Even the FRAME RATE sucks. What is with that? surely they can just lose a few enemies, particles.. or something else??

I'm also very surprised at Sony. Are they that desperate to release this regardless of the blatent issues? And this AFTER it was pulled back into the studio for a couple more weeks? Sony - no good will come of this, I promise. (maybe they gave up on the dev team, and just wanted it to end - plus the studio payments).

 how is it fanboyish if I AGREED with the review. Starwars games fit the controls better. Plus, im friends with the IGN guys. They are the most unbiased guys in the industry. I'd trust their judgement over any other site unless I started my own (in the planning stages lol). 

 Killzone isnt the one who should have been banned, you are the one who bashs everyone, and starts with everyone.

Like I said earlier, get Warhawk. The six axis controls are amazing even though there is a big learning curve to use it, but when you master it, you will dominate people with it.

I can't say that I'm shocked that the review was low, but I am shocked by how low IGN gave them.

Ohh iam not defending the game, F5 got cought up in the hardware and forgot its a freaking game. Warhawk is perfect example how flight game should be done.
