I was originally not all that excited for this game. I was much more into the world that Resistance had created then I ever was for Killzone 2. I figured I would only get one of them. Yet when I saw the "Symphony of Death" video I started to really look deeper into it. I informed myself of the previous entries to see if I would even care. I played through parts of KZ1, not that bad of a story, just REALLY laggy and buggy. The controls were inventive yet the lag and bug issues killed it.
I read the backstories from the main site as well. They were really informative of what was going on in the background of KZ.
So I decided I was very much interested in this game. I couldn't afford to get it right off the bat but was anticipating doing so sooner or later. I kept up with all the reviews of the game. Most very positive. The only gripes were all nitpicks of minor trifles. The one thing I kept hearing though was that the story was garbage (in so many words). Now that I have finally played through the entire story mode I must disagree....
I really like the campaign. It emulated a warzone so perfectly without adding in tons of gimmicky missions just for variety(although the six axis control objectives left some to be desired). Radec is THE SHIT!!! The battle with him at the end has to be one of the most enjoyable I have ever played in a shooter. The guy is just fucking running at you with a damn knife going "You can just call me your surgeon!". Garza dying was touching and furthered the instillment of my hatred for Rico (which I believe the developers wanted). The voice acting in certain parts needed some work, sort of hit and miss. For the most part I enjoyed the little spats between Garza and Natko.
Multiplayer Speaks for itself. EPIC!(Minus some of the hit detection, COD MUCH?) doing Clan battles with Joseph21, MakingMusic, etc everyday is the shit(I revel in killin MM and Jo LOL XD)
Agree?Disagree?Points of interest?
