I used to browse a few refurb dealers online but they appear to have gone out of business. I'm looking for a 26-32" for a girl I know and I'm wondering if any of you are on some mailing lists that point to the best deals online. She's being really cheap about the TV (damned chicks) so I want to get her as much for her dollar as possible.

I know there are sites like CheapAssGamer that find the best deals for games but is there anything like that for televisions?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

PS. I DO NOT want recommendations on which televisions to buy unless you have a link directly to a good deal on a specific set. I already know the specs I want in the television so don't tell me "buy a Sony/Samsung/blah blah blah" or you'll have a very grumpy moderator on your hands.

If there is one thing I know it is TVs... hell, in a few months I will have a bachelor of science degree in TV technology. Can you give us more information on the budget or specifications? Does she defo want HDTV, because under 32 inches you may as well get a good quality standard def one for the same price as a bad quality High def one.

She wants a flat panel but doesn't know anything past that. She's in the $300-400 range and wants something larger than 26".

I'm thinking a 720p LCD should be able to be found quite easily in that price range. I'd like to steer her more toward 30" but I haven't done much price searching yet and wanted to ask around to see if anyone knew of good sites to peruse.

I can't find a US price for this model TV as I am based in the UK, but if you google it and click on shopping it should take a couple of minutes to find one.

LG 26 Inch - 26LG3000

This will do the job and should be under $400.

Amazon and buy.com have some used and new TV's listed for that price range.
