Some multiplatform games have duplicated the data several times to improve seek times in compensation for the PS3's 2x BR drive.

Why not using it to remove those ridiculous install times? If they put all the install data together in one file, installs should be much quicker than they are now.

For example I heard DMC4's install takes up more than 20 minutes, in that time they could transfer the install several times over. I wonder what they're doing behind the scenes, must be something wasteful.
