Don't know about Poland but Belgium... I got my reader a couple of month ago, went to the shop and found that the DVDs still occupy 90% of the movie section...

... not enought interesting movies to me yet... (I don't want to hear about those re-scanned sh*it from the past : Movies from 1995 in BR ?? Wtf ?).

blu ray is doing pretty damn well for itself here. Most places, they have dvds in the background with blu rays in the front (when showing off movies in catalogues) and blu ray takes up a proportional area of a lot of stores now :P not all yet though.
