Well, the PS3 version of UTIII was supposedly patched with splitscreen (and trophies) today. Sure enough, I started the game, a patch downloaded. 45 MB, about twenty seconds. I haven't played in six months, though, so the update could be old.

My friend had come over, so I was trying to play splitscreen. We both had our controllers on, booted up UT3, and tried to find a splitscreen option. It wasn't there. Tried opening the campaign, maybe it's automatic, since there was no splitscreen option. Nope. Same with Skirmish.

How do I play splitscreen on UT3?

By the way, it's a fun shooter, worth a try for any fan of FPS (but it's no Killzone, Halo, CoD or even Resistance)

There was definitely splitscreen included in the update, it's in the trophies: finishing co-op is a silver.

It should be there. I downloaded the patch about 5 days ago, added split screen and trophies.. and a new interface. It was about 200mb and was called 2.0.
