Super Mario 64, being my first game ever, does inspire feelings that no other game seems to be able to. Otherwise i play the games strictly on their merits, but fortunately i tend to favor games with solid replayability and good staying power. I'd by willing to replay most, if not all, of my entire collection.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Super Metroid and Star Tropics are two examples for me. Downloaded them both on VC and couldnt put either down till I finished them. I could never beat Star Tropics as a kid so it was kinda gratifying to finally get past the last lvl. Super Metroid is/was just awesome, the game trully aged superbly.
