Hello all again.
Yes, I am opinionated, and say things people disagree with. If I offend, please know they are just my opinions and leave it at that. Anyhow, I decided to post this thread, which might seem a bit absurd, because I do game design. I happen to find there happens to be more people who have an interest in Connect Four than I first thought when I started getting involved with games like Chess, Checkers and Go (abstract strategy games). So, in a nutshell, while experimenting with different game designs, I found a variation on Connect Four that has gone well (it got very good reviews by people playing it). It takes what is normally seen as a kid's game and gives it depth.
In a nutshell, players select their moves at the same time, simultaneously. There is an initiative token which gives one player the chance to drop their checker before their opponent if both players select the same column, then the initiative token switches to other player. If different columns are selected, then both go in at same time.
You can find the rules here:

Anyhow, feel free to check this out, if it interests you. Since the rules are there, I will avoid posting it a second time. If this doesn't, do feel free to ignore it.
And thank you for your time...

. Poker is on, so why not Connect Four?
