The abstract strategy games project is working to get a non-profit sports federation/trade organization that would work like the way the U.S Chess Federation works, but for games like Connect Four, and other such games that don't have organizations behind them. Paperwork is being worked on now. Idea would be to push for there being a Champion at Connect Four and other games. An attempt to get games like Connect Four more relevant, this came out. What was found that there is a surpising number of people who know and will play Connect Four.
Hey, we get this done right, maybe we can get Connect Four on TV 
. Poker is on, so why not Connect Four?
