The US. Miyamoto himself has also taken notice of young American developing talent.

Well metacritic is made by Westerners, so ofcourse they score western games higher.

How about i take Famitsu scores and hand out points by their ratings?!?!

We must be looking at different Metacritics because last I looked Metacritic doesn't actually score games, they just average all reviews.

What i'm saying is 99% of the reviews taken into account for making up the metacritic score is from Western websites.

Ofcourse the western games will get high scores.

Japan magazines/websites aren't taken into account.

YEAH!!!!

Lol.

Take my love, take my land..

You need to count games per population!!!

To answer multiple questions:

I did count god of war 2 just look in the US section. And I didn't count handhelds. I can't count all games because I don't have the time for that. This took me long enough

And Super Stardust surely rocks. I'll give Finland 5 point for that. Finland cinq points *French accent*

So American reviewers like games made in America. I guess that makes sense.

Blizzard, Valve.

Blizzard, bro. Blizzard.

The continent of North America is epic win for game developers.

As for "American critics" last time I checked, metacritic uses most english speaking review sources.

...but let me get this straight. Are you actually saying that North America doesn't produce the best videogames, and some other place does? Which place?

Not only do we make the best games, but we also invented the Internet, upon which you are speaking with me, and we might as well have invented movies, television, and music, because we certainly have a vast monopoly.

Our number one export is entertainment, and you can say a lot of shit about America, but there is one thing we've always been great at. Keeping you entertained.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I'm going to ignore the rest of your post to look at the idea that Americans "might as well have invented music".

It is blinding me.
