I've taken every AAA (90+) game on metacritic since 2006 (+/- 360 launch). I've done this for xbox 360, ps3, wii and pc. It's not easy to decide the rules, so a country gets 1 points per full game and half a point per DLC or expansion. I'm sorry for any mistakes.

Update: I’ve added handheld games for Nintendo DS, GameBoy Advance and PlayStation Portable. This gives the USA another point and Japan an additional 3 points.

According to Wikipedia Ubisoft Paris made the campaign. A US studio did the 360 multiplayer. And Ubisoft Shanghai did some things for the xbox and ps2 multiplayer. But I counted the 360 one, so.

U.S. because it has Valve in it. That basically moots all other points. Portal, Left 4 Dead, Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, everything they make is amazing.
