SO4 was never supposed to be AAA or even AA but still 2.5 kinda sucks

I disagree with the majority of reviews I read on that site. While the reviewers there nitpick every single little detail, I find myself wondering if that's ALL they think about as they play through games. I don't even look at their reviews anymore, and I'm a guy who gets a kick out of studying criticism from all types.

I've not played the game yet, however a 50% seems plain ridiculous. :|

Person 1: Does Valkyria Chronicles have trophies?
Person 2: No.
Person 1: Forget it. I'm not buying it.
Person 2: Wait! It's amazing! Unique, charming, drop dead gorgeous... Hello?

I remember when The Last Remnant came out. RPGamer wrote off the game without even giving it a chance. Those guys will rub up awful rpgs like Etrian Odyssey and Revaria: The Promise Land, but won't even give TLR the time of day. I love their podcast, but their reviews are of varying quality.
