Game Focus: One of the staff here loves Code Veronica (Fale) and was wondering if we would see a XBLA or PSN release of this game.

Matt Dahlgren: Nothing is planned for the game regarding a remake on PSN/XBLA, but what I can say is if you are a fan of Code Veronica you should pay attention in the next couple of weeks there is some news you should be very pleased with. Tell him to pay attention on the 12th (March).

wander if it will be totally redone or just a crappy port.....it would be cool if they did re4 engine with some actual time done with the graphics

That would be nice. They can take the GC build of RE: Code Veronica, revamp the game play (since it's in 3-D) with RE4 like Camera angles and re-texture it. Maybe get it to run at 60 FPS.

I hope this announcement isn't hyped too much before we find out what it is. I really don't feel like hearing the bitching if it turns out to be just a port or UC related.

It's not really a spin off. It's canon. It's the true sequal to RE2. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis should have been the spin off.

I believe this is true. Let's see if this is what really makes Wii Resident Evil fan "very happy very soon".
