I'm buying an Xbox 360 when I get off from work tomorrow.
My last 360 was a 20gig Pro console. I loved her more than anything. She got sick in December, and finally died late February. She's still under warranty, but I'm not sending her back to Microsoft for repairs again. I'd rather she die with dignity. My dilemma? I don't know which version to get.
I have a 20gig Hard Drive and it's almost filled to capacity. I already called Microsoft and they're sending me a cable to transfer data from the 20gig to the 60gig hard drive. If you were me, would you:
A) Buy a $200 Arcade and slap that 20 gig Hard Drive in there and have a blast, buying $100 of extra games. No chrome disc tray cover, though :(
B) Buy the $300 60 gig Pro, use the 20 gig drive until the data transfer cable comes (in 14 buisness days), transfer the data, and sell the "Red Ringed" 360 for $50 at Gamestop
C) Buy the 60 gig Pro, swap out that Hard Drive for the 20 gig, then take it back to the store (also known as stealing a 60 gig hard drive and replacing it with a 20 gig Hard Drive). Then, buy the Arcade 360 AND sell the old "Red Ringed" 360 at Gamestop for $50
I'm not going to do "C" (even though I DID consider it.....) but whatever you guys recommend out of "A" and "B" is what I'm going to do. I gotta go back to work, but the majority is going to win. I'm buying what you guys tell me to buy, no questions asked. In the words of Captain Planet, "What kind of power is HEART? That is so lame."
Also, "The power is yours!"
