The best thing that comes close to the PS2 library of games is the DS. No non-handheld comes close this gen. And SONY's 1st/2nd party games played a big part in the PS2's library. With that said, SONY hasn't release a lot of their other franchises on the PS3, yet. So who knows.

Not a chance, PS2 had the biggest and most diverse gaming library in history. Want casual? The PS2 had it, Want Hard core? the PS2 had it. It had everything a gamer could want

This thread fails soooooo hard. No, and most likely never. The PS2 library is just on a different level entirely. It had everything, and most every game.
