Common fanboys... we all know Apple must of paid Konami for making an Iphone game.

If we've learned anything this generation is that developers who announce games on anything other then a branded playstation console must of been paid big bucks!!

Check the trailer, and you'll see the game looks like a flash game ... I was amazed when I saw the pics, then trailer (meh)...

are they talking about the same game? gameplay looks more like a small flash game made by fans than a full game.

Sooo... it's a really awesome game because of... its graphics? Surely there must be another reason? Wait, there's nothing? Just its graphics? And they're better than hardware released in 2004, specifically designed to be innovative instead of heavy on graphics..? Oh dear. Also, Mega uber LOL @ that article in general. :p

What's so special about it?

Umm... To me the graphics in the trailer looked just like pre-rendered images or textures; nothing real-time there. Well, Snake and the enemies were real-time but they were extremely poorly animated. Even the PS1 one could display better graphics with that technique.
