First Squilliam, then Toastboy and now selnor. So many in the fifth column lately.
The normal 'order' for this gen is :
1 - Wii
2 - X360
3 - PS3
So right now we cannot say that order has returned.
Sadly the ps3 couldn't outsell the 360 in the #1 and #2 markets in the world, that is not a good sign. I'm guessing when the dust settles Sony managment will keep the ps3 at it's current price point this year and chose profitability over marketshare.
I personally think that is the best strategy for sony giving their current financial situation, but it may it may not be what their loyal fans want to hear.

Dude I'm not a fan of anything. In fact I'm counting down the days when in April I pick up my PS3 ready for GOW3, amongst other titles. I'll buy whatever games are good for any console. I've had to wait purely because I am getting married, and the price was to much for me to stretch to over the last 8 months.
My 360 collection is already massive. And it baffles me how many people torture themselves with not buying a console for it's great games all because they talk about loyalty and fanboyism.
I genuinely couldnt live without great games such as:
Halo 3, Halo Wars, Gears 1 & 2, Mass Effect, Forza 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Lost Odyssey, Tales Of Vesperia, DLC for Fallout 3, Fable 2, DLC for GTA 4, and future products like Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Halo whatever, etc etc.
Same with PS3, I dont want to miss out on
MGS4, Uncharted, LBP, KZ2, GT5, GOW3, FF13 vs, Ratchet & Clank, Res 1 & 2. Among others.
There is games in both the 360 library and the PS3 library thay even if a gamer is picky about their genres they really cant afford to miss. PS3 owners who already have the console dont really have an excuse not to buy the 360 to enjoy it's great games to.( I'm referring to how cheap the 360 is now)
It's sad to see fanboyism get in the way of so called gamers missing some of the best games a generation has to offer.
At least that wont be me. :)
