PS3  (97889) outsells X360 (97739) by a mere 150 units in Europe/Others week ending

Japan preview PS3 to beat X360 by around 15 to 20k for week ending 28/2.  25k to 30 k PS3 sold in Japan against 10k X360 in Japan

America region should see PS3 outsell X360 by 5 to 10k.

All up a 20 to 25k PS3 over X360 in weekly sales. PS3 to reach 200k. X360 to reach around 175k to 180k

Clean sweep by PS3 over X360 in all regions Bringing an end of the X360s winning streak which dates back to 8/30 ~ 6 months unbroken.

well the ps3 almost always beats itt in japan so thats not really new

nah, 360 lead in america is far too big for killzone 2 to get over. kz obviously doesn't push hardware significantly.

Worldwide will be close, it will depend if KZ2 pushed hardware here in NA. Probably not, so it'll have to be on how many people bought a 360 for Halo Wars, and whether or not PS3 could be within 15-20k of that. IT will be close.

How much was it lagging in the US?

We see a boost of some 10k in europe, no? Would be weird to see a bigger boost in the US.

I don't think PS3 will win WW this week. It will fall short in North America IMO. Even if it doesn't, the release of Star Ocean 4 should boost 360 sales enough in Japan to make it a virtual tie.

i would throw a party if the ps3 can beat it in NA or even WW i would be so happy i didnt even think it could beat it in EU wat happened there 360 was at 106k last week

it all depends how much JP can help the ps3 out if the margin is big enough to over come the 360>ps3 NA margin, i don't C ps3 being able to outsell it in NA, WW will be close
