OUCH!

They should really just make another game in the vain of Sonic Rush, which after this score appears to still hold the place as the only good Sonic game since the Dreamcast died.

OUCH! That's WAY lower than I expected. Though I'm still going to hold my judgement till I play the game.

Ugh...I tried to enjoy those game but I just couldn't and put it away; This really must be over the top bad.

So they didn't rate it on what it was but on what they thought it should have been. Funny considering that isn't how your supposed to review games.

No one ever has problems making bad statements about Sonic but when it comes to generic shooters they could care less. Just saddening how little some of these reviewers care about proper reviews instead of their own personal interests. I'm sure the game didn't deserve 8s or 9s or even 7s but a 3.9 was not the score that game should have been given reading the review. That's just unprofessional.

Maybe they just thought it was so unfun/frustrating they had to give it a crap score. Just a thought. Comparing it to other Sonic games is of course normal, you think they don't compare Zelda games to earlier Zelda's etc?

That's what I think as well.  I knew from the get-go after the Sonic Unleashed days the reviews were going to be something along the lines of "Why can't they make Sonic games the way they used to be?  Sonic Unleashed's Hedgehog levels were so great and otherworldy, why can't they make a 3 hour game based off of those instead of making garbage like this?"

Well, time to go against the mainstream reviews again.

Wow, I think Sega should let Nintendo make a Sonic game instead.
