The game comes out today, and there's still no review on IGN.  I personally think this game wont be great.  The sword looks gimmicky and the gameplay doesn't look like the 2d stuff we were alll hoping for and too much like the secret rings, which I thought was just ok.  It will be an above avarage game if it's like the secret rings, but I was really hoping that the next sonic wii game could go beyond that mark.  The graphics look impressive though.

Anyway, this is just my 2 cents on what I think the game is going to be like.  I haven't read any reviews yet, and I'm waiting for IGN's.  What do you think it'll be like, and how well do you think it will score?

There hasn't been a ''good'' sonic game since 1994.

wont be at my gamestop will be tomorrow.

honestly, it looks good, and its the first sonic game in a while that hasnt looked like crap from the trailers.

Nintendo Power gave it an 8/10 but of course they also gave Sonic Unleashed an 8/10 too. They seem to have a Sonic bias.

Reading between the lines from IGNs preview - I'm not expecting a good score from them. Somewhere in the 6.5-7.5 range I'd guess.

They also gave Shadow a 8/10

 

 

Yeah, don't trust NP when it comes to Sonic reviews. Sonic Unleashed Wii was awful :|

never listen to anything nintendo power has to say.  Who knows what an 8 means for them

I thought the two sonic adventure games were good. Not perfect but very good.
