Me, I am taking a wait-and-see. Nintendo does not make many bad games, but they often seem to come in the racing genre when they don't involve Mario.

Like for example F-zero ?

 Or Waverace?

Pixel Art can be fun.

More like Donkey Kong Barrel Blast.

I have a straight up question to ask.

...Why are some posters overacting to boxart, and a description of this game without knowing WHAT it is and HOW it plays?

IF is a Bridge title, or A Core title, or A Casual title...does that matter IF it's fun?

The only thing I know is the boxart looks cool, and that I can play online. It SOUNDS like you can create bots, and it has mini-games and racing. Definitely interested to find out more information about it.

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

Personally the only casual racing I want on Wii is Burnout (but not Burnout Paradise).

Even I find this a strange decision by Nintendo. Mini-games in a racer? Racing robots? WTF? Why? Why not do a true Excite Bike? Or FZero? Or Kirby Airride 2 if they want to make it kiddie.

Not judging the game, but I am not seeing this as having wide appeal. It looks too kiddie even for most casual gamers (which has been a death sentence to many a good Wii game)

Gives EA or Sega a chance to put a 'proper' casual/core racer on Wii though.

Kororinpa 2, HotD, MadWorld and now this? Be still, my wheezing wallet.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

sounds good to me. I loved excite truck and this should be a good time since it has wifi and same dev. Probably mostly same game engine and all.

Though the obvious attempt to make the game more appealing to children is somewhat disheartening, i've become even more curious as to the substance of this game

I would really like to see a video at this point.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Because they're a bunch of insecure "hardcore" or "serious" gamers who define good games as the ones with swords, guns, no neck muscle-men, or fast cars in them. Words like mini-games and family terrify and enrage them. They're the same people who told us how great Lair, Haze, Alone in the Dark, and the Force Unleashed were going to be. =P

I think we have a winner here!

That is also the answer to -- Name a first-party Wii game released in North America that Nintendo never talks about.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
