Forums - Gaming - Have you ever put a "mod" chip in a console?

I am just wondering how many people have really done this before. When i fix up my one old Snes system i would like to look for one to install in it. And if i ever get any extra money i would like to get another Wii and "mod" it. So, have you ever or thought about doing this?

I've had a mod chip on my PS1 and it was awesome for playing copied games. I didn't have a mod chip on my PS2 because I got a Magic Swap. Magic Swap works wonders!

Well, I don't see the need to.

Only on my ps1. You dont need a chip on the snes. Not for japanese games at least.

Never have, never will.

Pirating games hurts the industry, and I have been cutting down on my piracy a lot since I got rid of my rig last year.
