Munkeh is looking for a game that mainly has the "grand campaign parts" of Total War. Obviously that would be the Europa Universalis series.
Munkeh, try EU and come back tell me if it was any fun.
I once tried one of them but I can't remember why I didn't put much time and effort into it.
I started on EU III, then when I tried to play EU I, I found it unbearable.
So little choice.
I like starting as a one province nation and then conquering the world.
