They're right, it would make no sense to add MotionPlus to a pointer-based game.

I don't care, I just want all EA Sports games to have MotionPlus.

I thought they had confirmed it, or do i remember improperly.

Motion plus isn't necessary, the more basic motion control would only be necessary. Just shake like mad when you get caught by something, because it is more natural anyway
