Forums - Sony - Better Late then Never?

So, basically, WKC is the PS3 finally getting jrpgs, despite the fact that the few people who have actually played the game to its completion have few good things to say about it, according to the Japanese fan reaction, Famitsu, and some previews.

Just be satisfied with the 2 cult classics the PS3 has(like the 360 has vesperia and LO) which are Disgaea and Valkyria. Fantastic games.

I just can't wait for XIII.

Really? I had no idea fans thought infavourably of the game. Although, I haven't heard much of anything about it since the famitsu reviews, so I guess that doesn't reallt bode well for it.

It'd be a real shame, I wish they had just done Dark Cloud 3 instead. Regardless, I'm still somehow very much looking forward to this game.

OT: I think this entire generation of consoles has been laking in JRPG's. We have had a few greats (I'd agree with the four Zen posted) but overall I think it's been relatively poor compared to generations past. Although the PS3 seems to be coming around as of late in terms of RPG's, Sony has done an absolutly terrible job in securing them in its first few years. That's no to say that MS has done a fantastic job getting JRPG's, only so when compared to Sony.

It's been very expensive this generation to get a variety of JRPG's.

The sooner that both WKC and TLR get release dates for the EU the better the RPG front on the PS3 will be!

Personally i hope that SO4 and TOV do get released on the PS3 as it would be cheaper than having to fork out for an Elite (wouldn't buy the other sku's as would not go with rest of electronics lol)

You know theres a problem when the "rumored" games outweigh everything else (Last remnant should also be put in rumored)

TLR was never a rumor, was delayed due to technical problems with unreal engine/ps3. Was originally supposed to be same day release on both consoles otherwise.

you actually belive that??

No that TLR was delayed because of "technical issues"

Doesn't matter what the issue is about the delay for TLR, the main point is it's going to the PS3, Sqaure-Enix even said it'll have some exclusive content on the PS3 version because on the Blu-ray disk.

Sony does that with every timed exclusive that they get sloppy seconds on.

oh yea i forgot... its requird by Sony to have extras in their ports

Come to think of it, the PS3 is the only system to not have a tales of game this generation. It only makes sense for one to come out on the ps3 next.

Right now the only team with no known project is Symphonia. Since the other team is working on Tales 10 on the Wii...

Former something....

Sorry for DP, but are you sure about the PS3 extras thing??, or did you get it confused with PC version?? nothing been announced about the PS3 version, but im sure it will get the PC port... also is Legend of Dragoon and Legend of Legaia i guess...real rumors??( as in Sony has interest in them) or pure speculation??

One if the extras will be to have the ability to play the game with the Japanese voice over
