Well there is a very very extensive backstory on KZ.com, and what happened was that as the government could not afford to start colonising, private enterprise stepped in, and it was the Helghan Corporation which founded the colonies on Helgast and Vetka. However, they were not independent, and I think that Helgast was the one that separated from the human empire, but I have history notes to do now, so I can't look it up myself, but I recommend you read the backstory, it is very interesting

When I saw those cruisers I was thinking to myself "Damn it! Why must it end here?!"

Isn't there a whole backstory as to why they are on Helghast and what fuels their hatred for the ISA?

I always thought there was supposedly a genuine reason for why he is the way he is.

 

I just wasn't very happy that Rico can't keep his damn finger off the trigger. He is incompetant in battle and seems to do everything wrong. Poor Garza.

 

I would still like to play from the Helghast perspective.

I think, Rico is such crappy, character, whatever he touches, dies. One of the most annoying characters i've ever met.

Well, there are no good guys and no bad guys, but visari is a real son of a b**** so he deserved it! About the "yeah but the guy kept order in helghan", I'll answer: "yeah as every dictactors" so no, visari isn't a good one.

People say Rico is better in battle but I found myself reviving him waaay more than Garza. Maybe it's because he helps in the higher levels. Yeah, I hate his personality. He curses too much and killing Visari was the dumbest thing ever

Yea, both sides are bad in their own way.
Have any of you completed the campaign on elite yet? Its just impossible.
And judging by how addicted I am to KZ2 online at the minute, I think i'l be playing the game until Killzone 3 arrives

Killzone 2 multiplayer is driving me insane.

I can't count the amount of times I shot an opponent 8-10 times an he would still be running towards me, then fire off 1 or 2 shots and I would die. Drives me %$%*($ insane!

99 kills and 108 deaths. Jeez this makes me look real bad when compared to my UT3 stats. Which at this point would have been around 150-60. Makes me so sad.

I know, Killzone is not a game for those who want good K/D ratios. Ive got aroun 1000 kills for 1000 deaths at the minute, and that fails in comparison to my COD stats. However, imo the online is just so damn fun
